Our philosophy
Tradition meets mountain panorama
Over 95 years ago, a Berlin confectioner shared his original recipe with the Graflhöhe region—thus creating an institution. Today, the Windbeutelbaron® is much more than a café: an alpine restaurant that combines culinary delights, panoramic views, and Bavarian hospitality at 1,000 meters above sea level.
Our cuisine focuses on fresh, regional ingredients and traditional preparation. Every cream puff is baked fresh daily, and every dish is prepared with care—just as our guests have known and loved it for generations.
