How to find us
By car
From Berchtesgaden, turn right at the Obersalzbergbahn cable car station and follow the road up the Obersalzberg to the Documentation Center. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards Scharitzkehl. After about 3 km, you will reach the Windbeutelbaron on the right-hand side.
Follow the B305 towards Salzburg and turn right in Unterau towards Oberau/Roßfeld. In Oberau, keep right towards Obersalzberg and stay on the B319 until the roundabout.
Parking spaces
Free parking spaces directly at the house. Please register motorhomes in advance.
By bus
RVO line 838 from Berchtesgaden train station towards Obersalzberg / Hintereck.
Hiking & E-biking
Carl-von-Linde-Weg from Hintereck, approximately a 1-hour walk. Charging station for e-bikes available.
